So, it’s unbelievably early… almost 4 am, and I’ve just finished a project for some good friends of mine who happen to be in a band that absolutely melt faces… This track will hopefully serve as an intro piece for their set.

I can’t figure it out, but for some reason my brain tends to work best really really late at night and won’t shut off ’till I get everything out that I’m thinking. So here is the result of a 4am brain dump using Reason 4.0 as the drawing board:

My new Prescription aviator sunglasses came in today from Optical4Less.com. I’ve got to say I was kind of skeptical about buy a $41 pair of sunglasses from the web, but my expectation were definitely exceeded…. YES

Milestones Church Generic Opener

This is a opener that can be used when we are not doing a series on Sunday. This was basically just some camera dolly work in Motion 4. I used photoshop to design all the elements.

“Wize N Up 2010″ Opener

Wize N Up is Milestones Church’s summer kids camp… very similar to vacation bible school. Obviously this years them is soccer – World Cup 2010 to be exact.

I created this opener entirely in Motion 4 and used lighting effects and casting shadows… it was a quick one to make… no frills.

Here’s an opener I created for an upcoming sermon series this summer. Did This one entirely in Motion 4. I modified a .psd from Elevation Resources. Not sure if all the text will stay the same, but this is the basic jist of it.

“Grow” Series Opener

This is the opener I created for the “Grow” sermon series we have just gone though at Milestones Church. This was a fairly involved project. All the motion for the letters were created by exporting 120 images or so from photoshop and using quicktime to create an image sequence at 720p. The flourish an the butterfly we created from psd’s animated in Motion 4. Finally I comped it all down in FCP and added the transition effects and music.

I love new tools!

testing out Apple Motion 4′s motion tracking parameter. pretty sweet.

p.s. if I had a quad core mac pro and 16 gig of ram I’d be dangerous… that is all
